Meet Molly, the “Pawperty Pup,” AMI’s Beloved Mascot

A Rescue Story with a Purpose

Molly’s journey began in December 2024, when she was rescued from an animal shelter in Orlando. At the time, she was severely underweight and had clearly experienced a difficult start to life.  Her story is a reminder that with the right environment, even the toughest beginnings can lead to something truly special — a belief that carries through into every home and community she now helps welcome.  Today, she proudly serves as a working dog and brand mascot, proving that every dog (and every person) deserves the right home.

A Working Dog with a Nose for Great Homes

Molly isn’t just a lovable rescue—she’s a true working dog with an important job. As the official Pawperty Pup, Molly helps welcome clients, explore neighborhoods, and bring a little extra joy to the home-buying and selling experience. With her friendly personality and love for people, she’s become a familiar face at showings, community events, and neighborhood walks.

Off Duty: Island Life with Molly

When she’s not “on the job,” Molly loves spending time at local dog parks, especially in Holmes Beach, where she can run, play, and socialize with her furry friends. Long island walks, swimming, and playing ball are some of her favorite off-duty activities. Whether she’s working or playing, Molly embodies the relaxed, dog-friendly island lifestyle that makes this area such a wonderful place to call home.

Yes. Anna Maria Island has a dog park located in Holmes Beach, offering separate areas for large dogs and small dogs. The Holmes Beach dog park features plenty of open space for dogs to run and play, water bowls to keep pups hydrated, and shaded benches where humans can relax and socialize. It’s a popular spot for locals and visitors and one of the many reasons Anna Maria Island is such a dog-friendly place to live.

Absolutely. Molly enjoys visiting dog-friendly restaurant patios throughout Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach when she’s off duty. The island’s laid-back, pet-friendly dining scene makes it easy for dogs and their humans to enjoy island life together.

While there isn’t an official dog beach on Anna Maria Island itself, dogs are allowed to enjoy the water on leash at the causeway leading onto the island. This popular spot is just a five-minute drive from Anna Maria Island and is a favorite gathering place for local dogs and their owners. With sandy areas and shallow water, it’s a great place for dogs to splash, play, and socialize while enjoying the coastal setting.
