This Anna Maria Island collection brought together local businesses, residents, and visitors to support Manatee County Animal Welfare. I was grateful to coordinate a fundraiser for a cause that means so much to me, and thankful to everyone who made it such a success.
Shared by For the Love of Dogs – foster, adopt, & volunteer at MCAW: “We are beyond grateful for the incredible generosity shown to Manatee County’s shelter animals. A HUGE thank you to Kim Bowersox - Realtor for leading an amazing donation drive across Anna Maria Island—and to Vintage Beach and our Anna Maria Island community for showing up in such a big way. Because of you, MCAW received a mountain of toys and treats to enrich the lives of shelter dogs. Kim also helped secure two generous donations totaling $1,205 for Friends of MCAW. These funds will help cover heartworm treatment, surgeries, beds, and more. Meet Jyrah, a sweet dog currently undergoing heartworm treatment and available for foster or foster-to-adopt.”
"I’ve been adopting shelter dogs since I brought home my first dog right after college. Shelter dogs make the most amazing pets. Dogs end up in shelters through no fault of their own, and they deserve a chance at a good life. With the right environment, even the toughest beginnings can lead to something truly special"—a belief that carries through into every home and community. These dogs have so much love to give. Please consider adopting or fostering a dog.

"Kim Bowersox and Annamaria Laszlo spotted on Pine Ave soliciting donations for the raffle baskets!" It’s going to be another great Fashion Show and Raffle! 12.3.2023

This is one of my favorite events—being part of the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Anna Maria Island. It’s always so much fun seeing adults and kids along the parade route cheering us on.
Events like this are such a great reminder of how special this community is and how much people truly enjoy being part of it. It's exactly why so many of us call the island our home. 3.15.2026

Selling the flower pots we painted as a fundraiser for the Garden Club. Funds raised support beautification projects throughout the island, helping keep Anna Maria Island such a beautiful place to live and visit. It’s always rewarding to see the community come out and support these efforts. 11.18.23

Such a fun group of women to work with! Our committee hosted the luncheon portion of the monthly member meeting, which also includes a guest speaker and time to socialize and make new friends.
It’s always great to come together, get creative, and support the Garden Club.
